CoFounders of CareerIsMe talking about their experience of finding career options online and what led them to creating this site

Anish Mathur, Co-Founder

Hi my name is Anish Mathur and I am one of the proud founders of CareerIsMe, I started to help make this website when I heard about how people had trouble picking what job they want to have, and what it will be like in this profession. It was part of my passion to help people so that is what I am here doing today. "Helping people find what person they want to be."

About Us

As Kids, the two of us - Arya and Anish (sister and brother), had fascination about few professions about which we had heard from our parents and friends. Arya wanted to be a professor and Anish wanted to be a neurosurgeon. When we were exploring the internet for information about these professions, we came across websites that were too technical (formal career websites like Indeed.com etc.) and those that were like chat forums (like reddit etc.). Some of the contents on the latter was also for more mature audiences and thankfully our parents were around to guide us better. The lack of information that kids like you and me could explore meaningfully and without our parents being worried about the content led us to create this portal - CareerIsMe.com. We have designed this portal with us and you in mind. Our animated videos, interviews with real professionals etc. are done to help you get a better understanding of different career options before you freeze one of them as your choice for future. We endeavour to make this site fun, friendly, and informational, and would love your feedback to help make it better.
